JackPress doesn't collect anything. Your writing stays on your Mac.
Your documents are plain Markdown files saved in a folder you choose on your own computer. Images you paste or drag in are saved to an assets folder alongside them. JackPress keeps one local preference: which folder you selected. That's it.
No accounts. No analytics or telemetry. No ads. No selling of data — there is no data to sell. JackPress does not transmit your documents anywhere. If you choose to work with an AI assistant in a shared folder, that relationship and its data handling are governed by the assistant you use, not by JackPress.
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can tell you when JackPress launches. It is never shared or sold, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing info@happyjack.media.
JackPress runs inside Apple's App Sandbox and can only access folders you explicitly grant it.
